Notice anything different, blog followers (all six of you =D)? I was inspired by a colleague to change things up a bit around here, and I really like the new feel.

In other news, I’ve also started thinking about my Social Media Policy. As I’ve stated in the past, I’m a bit of a social media junkie both for personal and professional use, so it’s going to be a bit of a challenge. There are just some tools that I don’t find to be very useful ::coughfacebookcough:: in the classroom, while others I am still pondering about (Twitter, Pinterest). I know I would definitely like to include something about the use of Pinterest, Diigo, WordPress (yes, I’m actually starting to like this bugger), and of COURSE NetVibes. I’m also struggling with the idea of who to gear the policy towards. While my experience in education is primarily with the K-12 crowd, I have zero plans of returning to it upon conferral of my doctorate. With that said, I guess I should write to the higher ed market?

Things to ponder, things to ponder…
